AccentI attended a school reunion a few years ago, and we all still spoke with Lancashire accents except one lad who had gone to live in America. When he arrived we all peed ourselves laughing at his explanation that he'd got sick of being asked if he knew people, because the Americans all think our island is very very little, so he'd gone native.
