This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

I have had a similar....
...issue with the missus. She appears to practice the First Available Space method of storage, which has led to bags of pasta in with the alcohol, pan lids in with the plates, and recently, ramekins in with the million spare carrier bags and bits of food processor we don't know how to use. What a cunt, eh?

The obvious answer here is to go out and buy a slightly bigger cutlery tray, leaving no room for the offending extra items. Putting them at the back sounds like a pain.

Failing that, glue a comedy sized piece of hardwood (say, 3 feet long), to each of the extra items, ensuring that they no longer fit in the drawer, or even possibly the kitchen.
