This is a question "Needless to say, I had the last laugh"

Celebrity autobiographies are filled to the brim with self-righteous tales of smug oneupmanship. So, forget you had any shame, grab a coffee and a croissant, and tell us your smug tales of when you got one over somebody.

Thanks to Ring of Fire for the suggestion

This bloke called me a cunt and told me to get a 'proper job'
Then parked on Double Yellow Lines right in front of me.

Take that £70 PCN, you git.

Lol.

Surely
just friendly advice?

TBH
I dont mind the "Get a proper job" part, and the job is a pure revenue collection scheme for the council. I just dont like being sworn at for paying my bills.

There cant be any arguement for parking on a yellow restriction - surely that is part of the Highway Code. Fines for P&D etc, I do personally find quite harsh.

And I did have a proper job
before I got TUPE/Redundancy :(

I am too nice to be a git in a stupid uniform.

Are you...
The commander of those fizzy prawn flavour snacks? OR are you the commander of those handy waste containers? I think we should be told!

I was wondering that myself..
I think that it is the metal container one.

The thing is
if you say something over and over it becomes meaninless.

Double yellow lines were 'invented' as a way to keep traffic flowing. Now they're everywhere, and as such no-one takes any notice.
Most parking tickets are issued illegally in any case, and a couple of letters makes it go away usually.
The 'play' is on people who don't know this, and pay up through ignorance.
A road near me has double yellows on it despite it leading to a dead end. How does that keep the flow of traffic going?

I agree
