We've had snakes for yearsI don't know how big it'd have to be to eat him, but it sure as shit wouldn't "size" him up. If it got hungry, it would coil and squeeze and that would be that.
Besides, a snake big enough to scoff a person would go more than 'quite a while' between meals. Maybe 6 to 9 months?
