This is a question Pathological Liars

Friz writes, "I recently busted my mate who claimed to have 'supported the Kaiser Chiefs in 2001' by gently mentioning that they weren't even called that back then."

Some people seem to lead complete fantasy lives with lies stacked on lies stacked on more lies. Tell us about the ones you've met.

BTW, if any of you want to admit to making up all your QOTW stories, now would be a good time to do it.

When transformers were having their heyday I had a mate who had the most in our cirlce of friends, this put him on a pedastal of cool but that wasn;t enough for him. He also claimed he had Unicron in his loft but his parents wouldn't let him play with it as it was too expensive (Special American import etc) He claimed that in Planet form it was about 1/2 meter tall.

The nights I spent fantasising over how it must be the coolest toy in the entire world are countless.

Age ruins childhood dreams :(

I had a dream
That there was a secret door leading to a chamber full of the world's greatest toys. It was somewhere in our house, but I could never remember where when I woke to up to the harsh, cold reality of my joyless young life.

Action Man
A boy I was in primary school with claimed to have every action man accessory there was. We all laughed at him and refused to believe him. That was, until he brought us round to his house and we discovered he was telling the truth.

He didn't just have everything, he had everything twice. He even had both the brown *and* the green APCs. He also had a fair few of those Tonka construction vehicles - the large scale ones.

His sister had every Barbie accessory going just to make it even more bizarre.

Christ knows where his dad got the money but it can't have been legal.

Star Wars
I have a Millennium Falcon toy, with absolutely none of the accessories. Because I ate them. Including the detachable chess table.
