bluddy typical beaurocratic red tape!!!You could try speaking with your mp... they are always banging on about getting people back to work, and here you are eager, willing and able and they are scuppering it for you!!!
If all else fails get in touch with the media, kick up a fuss and don't back down, dream jobs don't come around too regularly for most people!!!

Wot MP?At the moment they're all "candidates" and can't do fuck all until the votes are in. Then you can expect to wait a couple of months while everyone beds in and the high flyers concentrate on getting ministerial posts.
Constituency politics will take a back seat for a while I'm afraid.
