Office Christmas PartiesMy office this year is having Christmas lunch. In the office. On some desks we are going to clear the monitors off. The computers underneath will keep running as we are behind on some deadlines and need to keep rendering.
OK, so some people aren't getting anything, but how Scrooge-like are your bosses when it comes to Christmas?

Christmas AbroadJust had our xmas lunch, were in Baghdad at the moment, not with the squaddies, a private security company earning a small fortune for putting up with shit. We cant have a normal xmas and relax in case the muslims take advantage to attack, so we had a surprise ! xmas lunch today. The stores guy was to to organise it and was told to invite all the Iraqi local staff, so in the best ex squaddie was everything was bacon ! Port sausage wrapped in bacon, baon sandwiches, pork joints with apple sauce, bacon crisps, bacon burgers pork sausages on sticks, you name it. It was a loverly scoff, made all the better by inviting 30 Musilm employees who coudlnt eat a thing, duking primative pagans :-)
