This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Chewing gum
I am very, very scared of chewing gum.

I have nightmares where my mouth fills up with sticky, salty chewing gum. More and more fills my mouth, sticking to my teeth. I try to pull it out but I can never get rid of it all. All the time I'm gagging on the salty, rubbery taste, finding it hard to breathe.

As a result I can't stand seeing people chewing gum, I can't bear to see it lying on the pavement and I run a mile, heaving, from bits stuck onto tables and in ashtrays. If I'm on the Tube and someone near my ear is chewing it takes all my strength to stop myself boking on their shoes.

It may be Freudian but trust me, it has left me with a fear of chewing gum, not oral sex.

A Freudian Stick?
Chooses a virginal packet of Wrigley's Finest....

Slowly, sloooowly opens pack......

Selects a neatly wrapped wafer of spearminty goodness.......

Teasingly removes the paper.....

Even more sloooowly opens the foils, nostrils twitching as the minty aroma spreads.....

Pops into mouth, salivary glands working overtime.......

Chew openmouthed with relish, as the flavour is released, heading towards the old tum in a steady trickle of fresh-tasting pleasure......

When every last scrap of taste has gone, "Ptooie", the glob of amorphous gum is flobbed onto the nearest surface awaiting CHCB's (or other suitable victim's) dainty foot.

And there are still 4 more left. How can life get any better?

(Naah, can't stand the stuff either. And it's not easy to remove from pubes, either. That was an 'interesting' day)

CHCB's foot
Don't forget, she's just bought herself a shiny new set of shoes so wouldn't appreciate that. Yesterday, I volonteered my shoe to be the receptable of the weekly soccus-bukkake.

I hate that chewing gum dream. I googled it, and it said it is related to snoring. Your throat is constricted.
