This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Updated List
My list of fears is reasonably extensive (not sure if that's a good or a bad thing but...):

- being bored
- being unable to count (weird, I know)
- being unable to read (less weird)
- losing my mind (OK, a bit late for that)
- electro convulsive therapy
- being sectioned
- loss of wonder at the world
- obtaining self-esteem / self-worth
- sense of humour failure (own or others)
- watching Scotland getting beaten in rugby
- my exes father (a much, much longer story than I have space or time for here)
- liver and kidneys (not the tubular structures, more the knowledge of what they do)

That'll do for now, I think.

Scotland Rugby
Good point, although we did win the Calcutta Cup, which pretty much made my year.

I'll vote for...
... being sectioned and ECT. Having electric shocks through my head, knocked out or awake, is a genuine fear and enough to keep me appearing normal to any healthcare professional

ECT
Mighty effective in cases of depression; I think its been "demonised" by the media as a "punishment" treatment. Its very rigorously controlled and safe.
