This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

I worked there for a month
We were called sandwich artists. To be fair, I did try and make my sandwiches aesthetically pleasing, because I'm that kind of person.

There was one guy there who, despite this word being displayed at least 5 times in the shop, and the same number again around the prep table, insisted on spelling 'Steak' as 'Stake'. He was also hilariously racist. Since the part of Blackburn we were in had a higher than average muslim population, who obviously didn't eat most of the meat we had, we always offered to change our gloves.

In case we had touched ham....(badum tish)

He used to complain about this in front of the customers.

"Why do we have to do this anyway? Can't you just eat the meat? Is it really that bad?"

I might not believe in Allah, I might think your beliefs are stupid, but I bloody well respect them.

Plus, I'm sure they put crack in it at some point... I'm addicted now.
