I remember those pretzels.And you aren't alone. Whilst in Iceland (I was very young) I turned to my Mum who was paying for the shopping, pointed to the mixed race cashier and said "Mummy, why is that lady coffee coloured?"
Thank God, the woman found it hilarious, but my Mum looked like she was about to die from embarrassment!
