Pretentious bollocksPossibly the worst event I ever went to was an evening of turntablists in London. The lights went down, the first guy put a cymbal onto a turntable, dropped the needle on it and left it making screeching noises for ten minutes.
When the lights came up, half the audience had snuck out.

Is it Art or is Nathan Barley?Went to a club in London once, I think it was called 'Omsk'. The delights on offer included
a) coked-up dickheads playing 2 records simultaneoulsy, at the wrong speed, while doodling on an overhead projector
b) In fact that's all I can remember about it. Probably the worst night out I've ever had. And Time Out raved about it....
