TruedatBut I suspect that for every example like the one you stated, there are hundreds more where the person accused of being 'upset online' merely rolls their eyes and plods on. It's for this reason (and the general overuse of 'upset online' accusation as a wind-up exercise) why I think it seems to have lost its way somewhat lately IMO.

When the former happens, it doesn't attract attention. It's only when someone goes on the defensive, do people start continuously using it as a rib.
