This is a question Racist grandparents

It Came From Planet Aylia says: "My husband's mad Auntie Joan accused the man seven doors down of stealing her milk as he was the first black neighbour she had. She doesn't even get her milk delivered." Tell us about casual racism from oldies.

Thanks to Brayn Dedd who suggested this too

Australia'a immigration policy is awesome.
well, it will be if we can get the thing of the ground.

See, what happened is that the US got bitchy because some funny little brown man was sick of their racist attitude towards his entire region.

So he asked them to cut the shit out, they refused. So he declared war and knocked down a couple of buildings.
The US, right, then got all their white mates together (notably including Ausfailure) and stormed across several countries in the region, bombing, burning and destroying the infrastructure.
The population, not wishing to try and continue their lives in the shit-fight that used to be their country, now make their way to SE Asia - journeys that would make your hair turn white. In Indonesia, they charter broken-down fishing boats to take them to a new home in sunny Ausfailure. These boats have a nasty habit of disappearing completely. You'd have to be utterly desperate to set foot on one.

When they arrive in Aus, we stick the bastards in jail. Kids and all. We are trying to organise a deal to send them to jails in Malaysia instead so we don't have to smell their foreign stench.

That is racism is immigration for ya - right there.

Bit behind on the times there
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7530156.stm

If you're gonna set up a straw man, at least make it slightly hard to knock down. The point is that trying to control immigration isn't racist in itself - the way it's implemented can be, however. That's down to the specific government in question. In this case, before the changes, the Ozzy government were being a far-too-heavy-handed bunch of cunts. No argument. But that doesn't mean that every attempt to control immigration by a country (any country) is automatically racist. Like I say, you're putting up a straw man

Ummm - that story what you posted was from 2008.
Don't call me 'behind the times'.
Fucksakes, man.

refugeeaction.org.au/malaysia-solution/

And you call yourself a lawyer? Can any partially shaved gibbon set up practise, then?

I didn't put up a straw man at all, I just narrated a pretty-much non-disputable sequence of facts. Would references help, bitch?

You mean references like this one?
www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/sep/04/australia-failure-malaysia-solution-refugees

I think my comment of 'behind the times' still stands pretty strongly. Oh, and I doubt you actually understand the concept of a 'Straw man' argument. Don't worry, it takes a lawyers brain to understand. Or, at the least, a partially functioning one.

Oh, and funnily enough we actually introduced a partially shaved gibbon to the firm last year - he's doing pretty well, but we've told him he'll need to be fully shaved if he ever wants to be partner. I showed him your posts, and he just shook his head then threw shit at the screen. I tend to agree with him

It aint over, sugarplum.

You didn't see that coming?

I hope you cleaned up after your monkey promptly? I imagine the horrific reek of rotten excrement would only serve as a warning to your clients as to whatever second rate thinking they may expect from you.

p.s."... a lawyers brain to understand."
(apostrophe)

p.p.s hehe "...a lawyers brain to understand."
(preposterous)

Oh dear
"However the government's efforts are doomed to fail, with the Coalition and the Greens set to vote against the changes."

Lifted wholesale from your own source. Did you bother to actually read it? I wouldn't mock a lawyers (no apostrophe) brain if I was you - seems you aren't doing much better

I have more faith in the ability of my leaders to be totalitarian, facist, unfeeling cunts who blithely ignore the will of the people
because I live here and see the fall-out daily.

You? You blindly drag up a 3 year-old link, and then try and support it with a 6 month-old link - all the while ignoring my respectfully worded requests for you to actually research this issue in a thorough & bipartisan way?
Shall I post the links from the last 6 hours to push it through your most naive and ignorant of skulls that this issue is very much raging in the current debate and is going forward?

would ya like that boy, would ya? huh?
Aww bless, he thinks he's people =)

*edit* but I don't not like gibbons (who doesn't not like Gibbons?)! and I don't mean for any of this terrible offensiveness to be Gibbonest in any way, shape or form. Free the gibbons!

Hahaha, oh dear
Looks like you've became upset, online. It's only the internet

For the record, I couldn't give a flying fuck about Australia, Malaysia or their respective immigration policies. Not one. And I have no interest in learning anything about them, just to propagate some pointless internet argument. I'm just using this as a break from writing this report I need to finish by tomorrow - you've been a lovely distraction, by the way. Most amusing. Thanks for that

I'll be honest, I don't know what you were expecting to achieve here. I wasn't even talking about Australia or Malaysia at the start - my point was that immigration control in general and by itself isn't racist. A point which still stands, and has nothing to do with what you've been bleating on about. See 'Straw man argument' referred to earlier. I think you really need to stop taking it all so seriously, by the way. Maybe go for a walk, leave the keyboard behind. Or just continue to wind yourself up over words on a screen - it's all gravy to me
