This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

I can think of but one ad
where the man gets the better of a woman. It was for a small car, Punto, Corsa etc. There was a contest to see who got to drive the car and so they said "We'll race to that fountain over there", so off the run. Then it cuts to the woman in the fountain jumping about, "Yay I won" just as the bloke drives past in the car.

This happens in advertising so rarely, that when it does it is distinctly refreshing to see it.

Anyone know of others?

I've seen an advertisement where the chap bests the woman..
It was a domestic violence ad mind you.

Disclaimer: I am in no way advocating domestic violence and the preceeding is meant for humourous purposes only.

It was a Renault if I recall correctly
But you just knew he wasn't getting any that night, nor for the foreseeable future.

I'll get my anorak.

I remember another
A couple are in a restaurant, and she tells him she's met someone else and wants to dump him. He replies that he was going to tell her he'd won the lottery.

I think it was for a bank, stressing the importance of being well informed.
