This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Well well
I've got no idea what any sound a baby makes means and no desire to find out. In fact I'd bet pretty heavily that you've got more experience and expertise in that matter than I.

Our brains and bodies are indeed different. No arguement there, but the suggestion that that leads to women being suited to stay home with the baby while you go and bring home the kill/money is ludicrous and frankly insulting.

No click from me today omni.

If the words "on average" was used, then the argument stands
There are some women that are not maternal, just as some men are shit at hitting moving targets.

The women that are not maternal have a just as important role than those that are. On average, they are more fun :-)

I don't think non-maternal women are more fun.
We're just available for more fun.

You do know what sound a crying baby makes, and you are more sensitive to it than a man. That's the way you are wired. [Unless you are a woman with a masculine patterened brain or vice-versa]. Experience and expertise are not relevant, as they are obviously learned, not part of fundamental differences.
I don't understand how Omni is insulting when it's accurate for every other organism on the planet [with some notable exceptions, natch].
It's also accurate for us. The difference occurs when we attempt to extend beyond the capabilities evolution has furnished us with using intellect.
Men are better at some things than women, and women are better at some things than men. That's sensible, accurate, well-proven and incontrovertible.

What makes everything so complicated is that as homo sapiens we use our intellect to make everything we do easier, faster, more effective.
Until you take the factor of intellect out of the equation there can be no accurate comparison of male-female ability. Nor should there be because it's pretty much pointless these days, but to deny fundamental differences is blinkered and unscientific.

Evolution has, over millions of years, designed women to care for children, and men to hunt. Nowadays of course this is meaningless as our intellects have allowed us to rise above set gender roles. The difference still exists, and will for a good while yet.

Apologies for lack of teh funneh - clunge.

Yes I do know what sound a crying baby makes
A fucking annoying one. The point was that I wouldn't be able to differentiate the meanings of the cries and couldn't care less. Other peoples spawn are gross and I don't have any of my own nor plans to make them.

Wow. I created a shit storm.
I was just having a friendly go at omni, which I had hoped he would have realised. He's got enough practice at it by now....

In reply to his above post :P

I'm actually thinking of posting my theory of women being shit drivers as their tits get in the way of steering but right now I'm off to the doctor so maybe later.

It's probably
due to a minge problem though, somewhere along the line, we'd best have a look. Trust me, I'm a doctor.
