This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Having it both ways
Women who are heterosexual but who confess to having "experimented" with their own sex = instantly more sexually desirable in the eyes of men.

Men who may have batted for the other team in their past = not something they would generally declare in public.

Bizarre.

This is a pet peeve of mine.
I think more men should declare their 'experimenting'.

An ex of mine had batted for both teams when a student and I thought it was great.

Girl on girl = (potentially) beautiful thing
Man on man = bad aids.

Agreed.
We're all entitled to having a past, unless it involves a bit of manlove, it seems.
Bitter?
You're just not used to the taste yet :)

This is infuriatingly true.
Whenever I mention to girls (whether they happen to be my current girlfriend or not) that I've been with men in the past, they get a kind of amused, mischievous glint in their eye that says "Great! Now I can talk to him about shopping, fashion and Desperate Housewives!" (false), and it never gets me anywhere nearer nookie.

The most open-minded lass I've ever known on the subject was my ex, for whom I was her third boyfriend who'd 'experimented'. She told me that when she was with her first boyfriend like that, her number one greatest fantasy was to watch him and another man together. I immediately perked up (quiet at the back) as I found the whole idea very exciting, until she said "...but not you because you're too masculine." What is this double standard anyway?

You're probably right that this is the general norm
But i don't think it's as universal as you may assume. Personally i find the idea of my bloke having experimented VERY hot, and it's not exactly fair but i do tend to think that if a guy has experimented then he is probably more open minded and so, through experience, i tend to get on better with them even if the result has been that he has decided he is actually firmly on the hetero side.

Women who have experimented
=(in male fantasy), increased likelyhood of being up for a 3some with her really fit mate
Men who have batted for the other team
= (in Female fantasy), increased likelyhood of him wanting to give it up the Derek

Whereas the logic they should be using is totally different
Men who've batted for the other team
= increased likelihood of using their experience of having seen things from the 'female' perspective in order to be more attentive, more sensitive lovers.

That should be the case, however
According to Big hairy Gay mate of mine, Bisexual blokes are crap in bed. Crap blowies, and they are a bit too target fixated (ie they just want to aim at the brown bullseye)

Either that or he's just had some lousy shags. He is a bit of a drama queen at times

This is teh interesting.
I've known gay blokes who refuse to sleep with anyone other than 'straight' and bi guys, on the grounds that exclusively gay guys are too effeminate in bed and the only people they fancy are 'real' men. Like you say, though, it probably depends a lot on personal experience.

Unless you're one of those young, trendy emo/indie wankers.
