This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Hmm
You're a bit of a cunt if you think that smears and breast exams are just invented reasons for women to visit the doctor.

Yeah, that's going a bit far.
If I was hospitalised my missus would be by my side 24x7, as she proved one time in Bangkok.

However I think mostly the issues arise over the minor health complaints. Or rather, what is considered to be minor by the protagonists.

Although even moderately serious sports injuries have got me into trouble with the missus. I had cracked ribs from playing football but woe betide me if I happened to groan a bit now and then. Simple logic was that it was 'self inflicted' and therefore not worthy of concern. Cracked ribs! Breathing, moving, coughing, sneezing, sitting, standing, rolling in bed all hurt like fuck! For two weeks! She just thought I was a wimp. But seriously, any women out there had cracked or broken ribs? It's a tad beyond a few paracetamol right?

I agree with you there thefuckestuppest
Routine smear tests mean my workmate will be around to see her 3 young kids grow up. And I do think guys shouldn't be reluctant to see a doc if needs be.

But not all of us are lacking in the sympathy dept. I used to live with 2 male housemates and would look after them when they had lurgy (hot honey and lemon, make them food, etc) and they'd do the same back. Doesn't matter whether you're male or female, if you're ill, you're ill.
