This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Women are stupid when it comes to shoes
not all I'll admit, but a lot.

One example I've seen recently is a (fucking annoying scumbag) Exeter Uni student walking past my house at about 8pm on a friday or saturday night, with shoes so painful/uncomfortable that she had already taken them off on the way to a night out.

That strikes me as fucking thick. No shoes look nice enough or do enough for how your legs or arse look to make that worthwhile.

I disagree.
I think some shoes definitely make girls' legs and arses look good enough that I'm quite happy for them to undergo the discomfort of wearing them.

There is no sense to it.
A friend's girlfriend (who is otherwise a truly lovely person), has such an irrational devotion to shoes that she has almost an entire room given to their storage. I know the argument that one can wear only one pair at a time doesn't always hold sway with women, particularly those that show such a passion for footwear, but surely this is deeply unnecessary.

And that's not all... I remember few nights out where she hasn't complained about how uncomfortable her shoes are. Several hundred pairs and barely any of them comfortable: lovely girl; absolutely dribblingly mental where shoes are concerned.

Do these shoes go with this outfit ???
Terrible question, this is... because the honest answer is: "I REALLY DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!!" But instead I tend to nod and say: "Yeah, they look great." Only for my girlfriend to say: "No they don't - they look awful," while she rummages round for yet another pair of identical-looking-fucking-shoes, puts them on, and then says: "That's better."

Women and shoes. Its like giving a pyromaniac access to a box of matches and a part time job at a petrol station.

I'd use that as my sig if it would fit. Brilliant!

I dont 'do' shoes
I own 3 items of footwear, open flat sandals, hiking boots and army boots.
Went with a friend who wanted to buy some new shoes for a wedding, after the 3rd shop i was ready to poke my eyes out.

Which means
I own too many shoes for a straight male:
9 pairs if running shoes and football boots are included, ignoring flip flops etc.

And they all get used regularly, so I guess it isn't that same as women's collects...

I was moving a business
of about twenty woman. Some of them had 20-50 pairs of shoes under their desks...WTF!

I say "business", as far as I could tell it was some sort of day centre where they spent 80% of their time on Facebook, or talking about Facebook.

The lovely Mrs RoF is perfectly sane, so I find the madness that pervades a portion of womankind constantly baffling.

I dont do the shoe thing. Used to when I was a kid (anything up to the age of 25 is a kid to me these days), but then I grew up. Comfort is the thing for me now.

Women + shoes = bad
Except:

You know when you get that awkward question from the OH? the one you really don't want to answer?

The perfect foil: "Oh look, a shoe shop..."
