Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

Early 90sAfter my girlfriend (now wife) became pregnant, we managed to cajole the council into letting us use one of the houses for accommodation on some estate. As I was in-between jobs at the time, the government paid the rent.
That house was my social/not-working gaff.
