Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

Having signed up for a Social Networking AccountI was most surprised to see that somebody on Myspace had mistaken me for somebody else!
Mistakes were made and hilarity did ensue.
Another time, I mistakenly told the wrong person a horrible, dark secret, and they thought less of me for it.
Damn this Social Networking.
