This is a question Social Networking Gaffes

Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.

Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

Witness the fact that we can have a Diet Coke advert where a bunch of slavering women ogle a fit guy with no top on and it's fine, but if you were to put a bunch of office numptys in their place and replace the fit bloke with a bikini model, the hairy-armipt brigade would be out with pitchforks and flaming torches decrying the blatant objecification of women. When was the last time you saw an advert where the man wasn't the "idiot" being humoured, educated or mocked by the womenfolk? Misogynism works both ways, I feel...
