Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

LazinessI used to use this to my advantage. We lived with the world's biggest attention whore who managed to get extensions to nearly every piece of formal coursework and exams for some drama or other. By the end of the year it was more of an effort to talk to her than to pretend we weren't home, so we'd sit at our laptops in our rooms and chat via MSN while she went from room to room knocking on our doors so she could tell us about her latest crisis.
