This is a question Conspiracy theory nutters

I keep getting collared by a bloke who says that the war in Afghanistan is a cover for our Illuminati Freemason Shapeshifting Lizard masters to corner the market in mind-bending drugs. "It's true," he says, "I heard it on TalkSport". Tell us your stories of encounters with tinfoil hatters.

Thanks to Davros' Granddad

I don't believe in government conspiracy theories.
I don't believe that the government could be that inept at running the country yet manage to conceal huge, secret plots to manipulate the population.

Except for the "5 a day" campaign. They're definitely in cahoots with the greengrocers there.

Five a day?
I thought it was twenty one units a week for men, and fourteen for women.

I have no problem with the 5 a day thing
Because I've got a code:

Carrots = coke
Peas = pills
Cabbage = weed
Mash = MDMA

Simples :)

3 a day
Some research is now suggesting 3 portion sof fruit and veg a day are sufficient. Im waiting to be told that 5 portions can double your risl of catching AIDS of the face.

Oh fer christ's sake
"Some research is now suggesting 3 portion of fruit and veg a day" -

There is no set amount, the point was to get the population eating more fruit and veg. 5 was chosen purely for alliteration purposes.

Apply some simple logic; do all portions of fruit and veg contain similar amount of vitamins, minerals and other assorted goodness? Do they balls.

alliteration, eh? ...that word.
I do not think it means what you think it means.

Or
Am I being an utter retard?

I heard that it was 7...
... but they thought that 7 was unmanageable so they lowered it to 5.

mind you how anyone manages 5 I've no idea

You know the actual recommendation
is 7 a day for women and 9 a day for men, right?

They just thought 5 a day sounded more realistic, as the closest most British people come to veg is chips. If the Japanese can manage 14 portions a day on average, we've got no execuse.
