This is a question Conspiracy theory nutters

I keep getting collared by a bloke who says that the war in Afghanistan is a cover for our Illuminati Freemason Shapeshifting Lizard masters to corner the market in mind-bending drugs. "It's true," he says, "I heard it on TalkSport". Tell us your stories of encounters with tinfoil hatters.

Thanks to Davros' Granddad

Having set up my own business
That could be doing better 15 months in I am beginning to think that my prospective clients are all conspiring against me not to buy our services. Boo Hoo.

perhaps (maybe; possibly)
your prospective clients (people you are trying to sell to) find you somewhat (in some measure or degree; to some extent) patronising (to behave in an offensively condescending manner toward)?

Just a thought

EDIT: in case you're wondering why I posted the above, initially the OP referred to 'prospective clients (people we are trying to sell to)'. I and m'colleague Chart Cat here found this to be a trifle on the patronising side. No sneaky editing can get you out of this, my good man...
