My Great-Uncle left me his visitors book which along with boring people like the Queen and Harold Wilson has Spike Milligan's signature in it. It's all loopy.
Either that or my Grandfather's swords.

@CHCBAlthough a flamethrower does indeed render snails homeless and dead simultaneously, I've heard it is possible to protect your tomato plants from pesky molluscs by putting a ring of copper wire around the base.
Slugs and snails won't cross it apparently. Must interfere with the fillings in their teeth or something.
Or you could do like I do and use good old toxic metaldehyde slug pellets!
