Eating fatA guy I used to know was veeery unemployed, and completely out of money (quite possibly booze and fags related, I'unno) and very very hungry.
His flat had no food in. He had already eaten all of the paper he could spare, he was looking for something else.
Apparently the thought process was "candles...they're made of fat...I must be able to eat one of them"
I'm informed this didn't work, as the aim wasn't to have horrendous pooh discomfort.

IDon't think that candles have been made out of tallow (animal fat) for about a hundred years. Modern candles are a heavy form of paraffin which would probably shoot through a fellow like a greased cloud.
