This is a question Unemployed

I was Mordred writes, "I've been out of work for a while now... however, every cloud must have a silver lining. Tell us your stories of the upside to unemployment."

You can tell us about the unexpected downsides too if you want.

I've been unemployed for a while now,
living in the wilds of Cumbria. Jobs are pretty scarce, and often only highly-skilled in the nuclear industry(I'm a musician, so of no use there. Or, really, anywhere).

However, I just got a phone call, and am working, as of the 14th! So, yes. It's a terrible time, economically, and the country is fucked, but if a lazy black metal idiot like me can find work, you can too. Keep trying :)

are you allowed to call yourself a musician
if you don't have work?

particularly playing black metal. not much call for session black metal musicians is there?

Am I allowed to call myself a musician if I *do* have work?
There's the question. And you'd be surprised how few decent drummers there are in this country, learn how to play blastbeats and you'll be in demand.

I take it back then

you're never allowed to call yourself a musician ;-)

just kidding. it's hard to find a decent drummer!

You're not in a band?
I've only met a few other Black Metal guys, and they all seem to be in bands
Bassist and Vocalist me!
