I was dating a fellow b3tan
many years ago and generally getting drunk and boisterous at her house where i stayed the night. The lady in question believed that she had a poltegeist (a fact which i snorted at) and maybe it was due to her pubescant daughters living there, but things would randomly fall over or jump out of place.

One night i was lying beside her and woke to find i could not move, i looked up to see only what i could describe as a swirly vortex of colours at the top of the wardrobe, i would not say i was scared but definately upset that i could not move or speak.

Maybe it was the Kronenberg or maybe other forces were afoot.

*Twilight zone music*

That's just sleep paralysis.
Quite common - it's because your brain is active but your senses aren't, so your brain makes things up.

the folk term
is 'Old Hag' and it can be terrifying, it is supposedly caused by a chemical your body releases while you sleep that prevents you from moving around too much and hurting yourself, if you sleep on your back it collects, and when you wake up it takes a while to dissipate, leaving you frozen temporarily.

The best way to combat it is to relax, but depending on what shit your mind throws at you this can be hard, but since you are technically asleep while being mentally awake, with training, you can turn it into a lucid dream.

Do you reckon
then that i was dreaming the swirly light bits due to overactive brain or such?

Said it might be the krony
