This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

I drive a VW campervan....
it's fitted out with comfy bed, brilliant entertainment system, fully insulated and carpeted throughout like a luxury bedsit on wheels!

Except it's not. I bought it as a panel van and over the last 2 years I've put 2 windows in the back, a sunroof, changed the front seats and bunged an offcut of carpet from the house on the floor in the back.

I've a strong suspicion that it will die of old age and fail it's MOT before it's actually a camper van!

Mines a Transit.
I haven't even removed the front bulkhead yet. I have repaired the front wings. Well, bodged them with filler and glass fibre. I have repaired the rear doors. Well, ground out the worst of the rust, smeared them with kurust, primed bits then chequer plated over the holes. I have replaced one missing crossmember and I have bought some rear glass, just not fitted it.
I guess I ought to replace the missing floor for its MOT. Oh, and weld up the rather large hole in the rearmost crossmember.
It is fun to drive though.
Just consider them 'projects'

I've done the same
Put windows in, put carpet in removed bulk head and whacked a sofa bed in the back. I keep meaning to put a cooker in but its too much effort :(
