The Weird Kid In ClassThere was a kid in my class who stood up every day and told everyone he had new shoes. This went on for weeks, and we all thought him nuts. Then, one day, he stood up and told us a long story about why his family were moving to another part of the country, and how excited he was. The next thing we heard was that he'd died in a plane crash.

Never see him in classbut he would stand at the bottom of his garden which fronted on to the main road. He just used to stand there and watch the traffic. I dont think he was a dribbly. but he just watched traffic like 'normal' people watch TV. Maybe he never had a tv....
Anyway, he wore a hole in the same patch of grass he used to stand in. It must have been worn down a good foot by the time the council knocked the houses down and moved them on to pastures (and traffic) new....
Length? I said a foot! A good foot at that!
