This is a question Things to do before you die

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us that his ambition is to a) drive around New Zealand in a camper van; and b) have MASSIVE sex with the original members of Bananarama. Tell us what's on your wish list, and why.

I wrote meself a list when I was about 16
I don't have the best memory if it, but being a teenager still, it involved a lot of sex, drugs and rock n roll type wishes, I shall try and recant it here:

See the world (backpack and hitchhike around Europe) places to deffo see: Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, things to do: immerse oneself in a foreign culture/foods and learn to speak a foreign language.

Do the full range of exotic sexual experiences (I've basically distilled half the list to this slightly less specific version).

Do the full range of recreational drug experiences at least once (likewise).

Probably combine the two.

If I like it do it a lot.

Love and be loved at least once.

Perform in a band and make an album, have sex with a groupy.

Appear on TV.

Get in the newspapers.

Fuck someone rich and famous at least once, and be a trophy husband at least for a while.

Never work in an office.

There's probably a couple more I've forgotten but I'll add 'em if I remember.

I managed all the above by 30. In retrospect I maybe shudda spanned it out a bit longer.

Now what?

No
more like David Gest really, and tragically not as successful...

Can't say sorry,
but they was very rich and very famous at the time.

It's not nearly as fun as you might think, you're sorta just their accessory, you just kinda follow behind looking pretty in the clothes they dressed you in and doing what you're told, but the sex was good and they were spectacularly good looking and sent cars for me, which sometimes took me to planes, and then you got sneaked in round the back of the queues at clubs and free drinks all night, top hotels, all that, all of which was fun, but none of it was your decision including when it ended, which wasn't.

Wouldn't do it again, but glad I did.

I managed 7
8 if you modify "never work in an office" to "never have to wear a suit to work"

A complete and utter lack of musical talent precludes the band item. Although I could probably be the guy who stands at the back at a keyboard looking bored, in early eighties electro bands...

When I was a teenager
I usee to play in a brass band. We did live gigs. We even did an actual honest to god vicars garden party once.

Does that count, do you reckon?

Yeh I've managed to avoid the suit thing too, save for interviews,
I mean what are ties even FOR!?

I was in numerous bands as the singer/writer but they never amounted to much and my best success was a solo project in the '90s which was simple programmed low tech stuff I sold in shops and to anyone I met, did a 'live' gig of it once too which was fun, keep meaning to put it out there online now just so folks can hear it as it's kinda irrelevant and just sitting around the place now.

Folks tell me they still play it tho, even tho parts of it have aged somewhat badly IMO.
