Games, games, games...
Think I'm a gamer, FPS or RPG are my demons: Just got to complete them once they're installed. Tried to control myself by restricting time spent but I'd make excuses to myself e.g. If I play one more hour I'll get up early tomorrow and do the stuff that needs doing now.
Once bought WoW and was ready to go until a good friend told me not to be a silly sod. I'd bought it on the premise I only spent an hour a night max and only if I had nothing else that needed doing...
No more games now, not until I'm retired and have time - if I get arthritis I'll be gutted...

The guy in the Army recruitment place...
Said the good old Brit army would pay for any qualifications I wanted to do. This was a big plus point for a guy with no money and eager to do well in life.
Did they pay for my education? Did they hell, some money off was all I got. Did I get any time off to study? Ha, stacks of that on an operational tour.

Killing a cold with Whiskey
Had a cold for ages, tried everything. At a friends for a cool weekend away when I decide to try and kill off my cold with various whiskeys at the local pub.
Cold was worse and lasted another week... Fail.
