# Thanks :)
Now, what is this 'washing line roulette' of which you speak?

# that's where
you do the washing on a rainy day, wait for a break in te rain, then hang the washing out. if you can get it back in dry, before it pisses down, you've won.
i managed it 5 minutes before the thunderstorm broke :)

# Ah. I havent had an outside washing line for yeeeeeeeeears.
Which is probably a blessing, in this country.

# i don't like driers
too much static and they eat the lecky. plus, clothes smell better dried outside

# I don't have a drier, I just have an airer and a dehumidifier.
I love my dehumidifier.

# dehumidifier?
no point having that here, it's never warm enough to be humid

# It gets damp indoors.
And then I get pneumonia. But I haven't been ill in the four years since I got my dehumidifier :)

# this is a good thing
haven't had pneumonia, but i have had pleurisy. that was bad enough :(
