I reached and breached that point years ago.The absolutely casual, socially-acceptable xenophobia I've encountered with a Sherman friend of mine has been really quite vile, dinner-party stuff "Oh you're American you wouldn't understand! Hahahahahaha" "Yes we have that here, along with irony! Hahahahahaha" "Bloody Americans!" &c.
