# I'm from way up north.
To me, it matters little.

But we did have a chat in the pub about Boris on Friday, and we all reached the conclusion that people vote for him because of how bumbling and incompetent he is, because the public figure they're going to get fucked whoever they vote for, so it might as well be someone funny.

that the only two things the Mayor really has an influence on are transport and the police. The rest is down to councils or Central Govt, so ignore all the other bollocks and see who you agree with most on those two.

If you are on on a good salary and reasonably comfortable in life, it should be human nature not to be to miffed about a bit of extra tax you aren't really going to notice benefiting the rest of society.

That seems like a fairly reasonable assessment of what's up. Poor old Brian Paddock seems quite likeable but his party well and truly lost the plot getting into bed with the Tories. I've voted Green once in my life as a protest vote, but not again; we would be left with a bit of pocket money after their taxes
