# I think that would have made a better mask
Am I the only one who is a bit underwhelmed by the prospect of this film?
(, Sun 10 Jun 2012, 13:01, archived)
# I'll definitely be heading to the cinema to see it, but I'm not expecting greatness.
That way, if it's shit, I won't feel too hard done by.
And if it's brilliant, I won't mind being proved wrong.

# the opening sequence with the planejacking is mind blowing
but I've never liked Bane as a bad guy. Hopefully Nolan and co will change that.

# Oh shit, I just realised who is playing Bane
Well, that changes everything - quite looking forward to it now :)

# He's yet to do a film I've disliked.
Which I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear.

# Bane is easy to do badly
He's not dumb muscle (I'm looking at YOU Schumacher). In many ways the fact he has super-strength is a bit of a secondary thing. Remember how he broke the bat?

Also it's funnier if you mentally overdub him with Strong Bad.

# He was a worthy adversary in the comics, but the luchador look was all wrong.

# Have you seen his appearances in Young Justice?
It's nominally aimed at the 14-16 age bracket, but some of the stuff is remarkably mature. Again in that they play up he kinds runs his own extra-territorial meth lab.

# They basically had season one being teen drama with superpowers
Then for season two when the execs weren't watching they spun the show on five years and put in more mature stuff.

# I'll grab some of the season 2 episodes and see how I get on.
Cheers.

# From what I've seen and heard of it, there's little room for error
but I've been wrong before.
