frying will make it mellower
frying dried spices isn't always best as some of them can burn. if you keep the heat low and stir constantly, you should be fine.

might want to try a bit less first time
maybe 1 level teaspoon for 6 servings. i love strong tastes, so you'd definitely want to use less than me

It's a pisser and really rude of them not to eat it as it comes....
my mate would sooner have a plain wing rather than with my brushing sauce :-( pulling faces about how hot the burger is :-(
