hooking up and falling for someone is one thing
combing the net, grooming 11yr olds i feel is quite something else.
You arent a peadophile as an 18yr old having se with a 13yr old, you are a statutory rapist. Big difference.
12yr old plus 18yr old, you are talking sex offenders register.

why does it automatically make them a rapist?
surely the 13yr old could have made to decision to have sex. in that case, both users are consenting...

the law is phrased something like
"girls can not consent to sex until they are 16"
that's why

i agree but there's not much we can do about it
instead of complaining about it the best thing we can hope to do is raise awareness about sex and sexuality, stop sweeping it under the carpet and pretending it's dirty and evil and perverted. the uk has the highest rates of teen pregnancy in europe. we need to educate children about sex, cos once you know about things they're not as special and mysterious any more, so teenagers are less likely to go off and have loads of sex. i think norway or somewhere has the most extensive sex education program and their teen pregancy rates are tiny, and the average age of losing your virginity is 18. the answer is education, and to answer all questions honestly and openly, otherwise they'll go and try to find the answers themselves

They're teaching kids
how to do oral properly now in some schools 'cuase they feel that if they go that far and enjoy they won't be bothered about going any further until the required age or some bullshit like that...
I can't remember who told me this...

statutory rape is the legal term for
not being able to consent, its not my word, its the letter of the law.
As a minor you CANNOT consent in the eyes of the satute law, ergo its rape

in the case of my friend
the 13 y/o said in her statement that she initiated sex, it was not her first time, and that she knew what she was doing.
Made no difference and fucked his life up totally. He has to declare it on every job application, register his address with the police, and live in fear of vigilantes.
