I'd be grateful if you could remove your credit and rightfully credit it as:

I know, I should have watermarked it at the time, but I never knew it was going to go as global as it appears to have done. I must confess, I haven't made a funny picture since!

Finally, it works better with the headline 'There really is no way to deliver some news nicely, but Diana's parents attempt was probably in bad taste...'
