# very woo!
edit: oh yes, that reminds me, in amonth or so I should have successfully installed broadband on my pc, and as a result will be "purchasing" some recording/arrangement software, so I should hopefully be available to do guitar parts for you again should you need it, providing i get the hang of said software...

edit 2: what the fuck is the word im looking for? meaning a bit of software that allows you to put recorded parts together.

edit 3: ahh, a sequencer. thats the one.

# You bet your hairy ass I would like that
woo
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 23:46, archived)
# good good.
do you have any suggestions?

Also, are you going to be on hand to explain things to me in a very slow fashion as though you were talking to a small mentally deranged child?
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 23:48, archived)
# I have no idea about what sequencer to get
I have an old one that does the job and so no real need for me to update and/or invest.

As long as you can get the sound on to your comp in a decent wav format, then to mp3, that's all you need.
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 23:49, archived)
# fair enough.
I am approaching this with absolutely fuck all knowledge of how to do any of it though, so it may take a while before I can get up to the standard of being able to submit guitar work.

# First
Do you have a souncard capable of direct line input ?
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 23:53, archived)
# yep, I just need to get an adaptor.
about £3 in a shop...
(, Fri 12 Sep 2003, 23:55, archived)
# Good-oh
just ensure that the recording volume is not too high and you'll be well away.
