gherkin bolWhen I was a student & skint, I found my cupboard contained half a pack of spaghetti, one jar Dol Mio...and a 5KG jar of gherkins no-one had eaten over Christmas. For a week I lived on Gherkin Bolognaise, the gherkins making a barely adequate substitute for mince. It was shite.
