Thank youThat is precisely how I feel right now.
I am being forced to go into the big smoke from the peaceful country to go to our 'Christmas do'.
I am 30, my next youngest co-worker is 50.
It is a dinner dance in an Italian restaurant, and we shall be expected to 'darnce'. My plan is to hit the hotel minibar, and end up in hospital by 9pm.
Why don't they realise that i would prefer to go and have nasal surgery than sit around and watch them embarrass themselves. I can hardly join in their conversations on PEP's pensions and how their children are doing a Uni...
