# ohhhh nice idea
*tries to work out how to make something look like marble*
(, Fri 27 Feb 2004, 0:27, archived)
# Well
selecting the colour of the marble and paintbrushing over the 'guin head layer at 30% opacity turns it into a ghost head - as above.

T'would be mightly useful to have a marble tutorial.

# it would be rather hard
since marble is textureless you would just be drawing shadows onto a light block of colour... which requires skill
(, Fri 27 Feb 2004, 0:34, archived)
# And feathers
are well.... feather textured...

Bizzarely, I find marble is darn easy to draw with a pencil for the reasons you have just stated - and texture damn hard.

Gah. Back to drawing board....

# how often
actually have you need to do marble hey
(, Fri 27 Feb 2004, 0:35, archived)
# I'm assuming
you're asking how often is there a need to do something in marble... First time I've done it - others are probably a great deal more experienced.
(, Fri 27 Feb 2004, 0:40, archived)
# Once you've done that,
use the Burn tool on the head layer to up the contrast...it'll be less ghosty, at least.
(, Fri 27 Feb 2004, 0:38, archived)
# Ahh
That was tried - it just looked as if the whole head was in shadow.

# you're the new humandescent!
