# 'lil threadwaste for you...
If you go to a user profile that doesn't exist like this, there's a weirdy profile with front pages an' everything. If you click more, it'll take you to threads that appear real, but the user name is non-clickable.

If this is glasscock or simply annoying, I'll delete :)

# Back in the day
you didn't have to register to be able to post, and any unregistered user posts that got frontpaged would be dumped into that default profile.

# I personally like
this profile.

Old, eh?

# Weird.
Thats one of the boards quirky features.
tj: I'm really peeved. I've been saving a Mary Poppins/Kenny Loggins post up all weekend to post for the regular crew. I come back today, and Mozza has frontpaged the very same idea. Damn your eyes!*

*not really, woo to Mozza.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:28, archived)
# oooh no!
unlucky there, post it anyway and accuse mozza of stealing
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:29, archived)
# ha ha,
good call. I can't believe I was whiskers away from a front page*
*to be fair thats slightly presumtious, I think I've done a good job, but the mods might not.

# You may not of got frontpaged anyway
all depends upon which mod was around at the time you posted.
This is often proved by reposts getting frontpaged.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:32, archived)
# True enough
(see the addendum to my original) and besides, Mozza's bankrolling them, I'm sure.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:33, archived)
# well post it and we will decide
or accuse you of stealing someone else's idea :D
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:32, archived)
# they are real threads,
long agom you could post on b3ta without registering

# It makes me feel old
remembering those days when you didnt have to register, and other people have absolutely no clue about it.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:31, archived)
# I remember those days
but by the time I got round to posting the privelige had been removed and I had to register. Bah.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:34, archived)
# I remember when
all this was fields...
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:42, archived)
# And the days of open tags
What fun that was. The whole board would go smallerer and there'd be a race to post "TAGS!"

Happy days.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:35, archived)
# ahhhh....
imagine the fun I could have had by hyperlinking the whole board to my site
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:37, archived)
# I honestly do miss the ole TAGS! thing
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:38, archived)
# shall
we ask to go back to an old version of the board, just for a day?
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:39, archived)
# That sounds like a top idea
I wanna see the whole board in small bold italics. Or better yet Cal could code it all in comic sans. Just for one day, mind. Don't think I could cope with it any longer than a day.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:44, archived)
# It is
a common misconception that I am new here.
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:38, archived)
# I dunno
The one where Rob is talking to himself about gay mints: is that real, or does it only exist in his imagination?
(, Mon 3 May 2004, 21:32, archived)
# gay mints?
this I must see

edit: seen. 'tis the last frontpage on that profile
