DC really have come up with some shit over the years.
'Gangbuster'. How gay is that?

Does sound a bit gay.
Almost like "Gangbangbuster". Or "Gangbummer". Or "Bumbuster".

you aren't a Marvel boy are you?
Oooh! The Sub-Mariner! The Mighty Thor!
DC have brought us the true greats: Hourman, The Red Bee, Phantom Lady, Stripsey, Sgt. Rock, The Haunted Tank, L-Ron... The list is endless.

I love both,
but DC in the eighties was all wrong.
I've only just read the follow up to Dark Knight, and I think it's the best superhero book I've ever read. I didn't think he could widen the brief of Dark Knight to cover so many characters, but it's fucking brilliant.
The Marvel X-titles were my real vice in my heavy comic buying days.

Giffen/DeMatteis Justice League
Alan Moore's Swamp Thing
Hellblazer
All 80s, all DC, all great.
There's a lot of shit, true, but then there are a lot of characters. I consistently enjoy DC stuff more than Marvel. Except on the big screen, obviously. (Cunting Warners - a "comedy" Green Lantern film with Jack Black? The arses.)
