why do people care if in endangered species survive?
it just means they're a shite species. If they're already endangered, there aren't many of them and therefor taking them away wouldn't affect nature too much.

I like kakapos. They're cute and silly.
I'm quite happy for them to be kept in ideal breeding conditions and protected from the cats and rats by anybody who can be arsed. Wouldn't personally want to pay for it, though.

you let it eat it;
many plants disperse their food by the seeds being in the animal's shite. Animal eats it, turns it into shite (the seeds are difficult to have use to the body, they're made that way) and... shites it out. Simple. Plant grows again, animal lives.
