why can't b3taallow flash posts on here.. as long as it was regulated and rules set ie. no sound and max file size, the board could be even more alive and large gifs could be small without huge optimisation.. any commentations?

rules are rarely kept toand I would reckon there isn't the technology to check for frame actions that would transport you to another url...

because with flashyou can pull in scripts that can log users details, redirect people to porn, even force install spyware and viruses through it.
all that and more could be hidden within a perfectly harmless looking file, so the answer is no.
and the fact is if everyone did it, the board would break, as would loads of peoples browsers (many computers can't hack more than 3-4 flash files a once).
there's nothing stopping you linking to a flash file you've made.
madnesstemple.com lets you post flash files, but there's a hardcore of mods there so anything unscrupulous would get deleted pretty sharpish.
