because they are shit, and pointless.
But some are genius...

# Yeah, most compos are getting like that these days.
The number of shit compo entries has gone up at least tenfold, while the number of good entries has stayed about the same. So now there are squillions of pages of crap. I'm so glad I'll never get asked to judge a compo or I'd actually have to look through them all.
