# get out of my dreams.......
TJ: im trying to put together an old computer... what does it mean if NTLDR is missing?

# NTLDR
is the bootloader for windows NT/2000.
Amongst other things, it allows you to select alternate operating systems if you have more than one installed.

# It means it's time to reinstall windows
Or if you can be arsed and have a bootdisk, you can copy the necessary files form the windows cd to your root windows folder.

Be warned, ntldlr is just the tip of the iceberg. There's probably about eight files in total you'll need to get windows running again
